What it does
The in-app chat is where you reach the AgentsRoom team and follow what you reported. The Support thread ("AgentsRoom Team") gets an instant answer from the AgentsRoom Assistant, flagged as AI-generated, and a human takes over when the answer did not help. Community is an open forum between members, with a Bug or feedback post that files a ticket on AgentsRoom's own public board. Your feedback lists every ticket you reported to any AgentsRoom-powered product as a conversation: its status, a timeline of events, the team's replies, a mockup to validate, and the version that fixed it, with a way to say "retested" or "still not fixed".
Where to find it
- Top bar: the Community button (people icon, called Chat before 1.184.0) opens the panel, whose header reads Community with the subtitle "Support and community" (the header and the Help link still said "Chat" in 1.184.0, aligned in 1.185.0). AgentsRoom Help also lists Community among its support links, which opens the same panel.
- Conversation list: Support, Community, Team chats, and at the bottom Your feedback and the Leaderboard shortcut.
- The same panel on the phone: the people button next to the AgentsRoom logo, at the top of the Projects screen (with the unread badge). It is no longer a tab of the tab bar.
How to use it
- Click Community, open Support and write. The assistant answers first; under its reply, Did this answer help? with Yes / No. No hands the thread to a human ("JB has been notified, he will reply here") and pauses the assistant on that thread. When it has no confident answer it says so and the team replies, usually within a few hours.
- To report a bug about AgentsRoom, use Bug or feedback in Community (or ask an agent to call
report_issue). The ticket lands on AgentsRoom's public board under your email and appears in Your feedback. - Open Your feedback: one conversation per ticket, the status in the header (Planned, In progress, Pending, Done, Won't fix) and pills for each event ("Work started on this ticket", "This ticket is done", "The team replied", "Recorded on the Radar", "Turned into a ticket"...). Reply in the thread; Attach a screenshot adds up to 3 images.
- On a closed ticket, answer "Have you had a chance to check this on your side?" with Mark as retested or Still not fixed (sends it back to the team's board). When a fix shipped, the row shows the version and "You are running X: update before retesting" with an Update button.
Reading in your own language: the strip above a conversation has Translate conversation, which shows every message in your language in place of the English text (Show originals switches back), and an Always translate switch: conversations then open already translated and the messages that arrive afterwards are translated as they land. Each message keeps its own Translate / Show original toggle. A message written in your language, and your own messages, are shown as they were typed rather than translated back from English. Team chats keep the manual button only.
Filter the list with All, Open, To retest, Validated (only non-empty filters are offered); a Search your feedback field appears from six tickets. A mockup the team sent arrives as a question with Open preview, Yes, that's it and Not quite.
Settings
- Settings > Account > Receive mail notifications: an email when a chat message arrives and no push could reach you.
- Settings > Privacy & data: when data sharing is off,
report_issuesends no diagnostics (app version, OS, CLI, locale). - Always translate (setting
chatAutoTranslate, off by default): the switch in the strip above any conversation that has messages, shown when the app language is not English. Stored on this computer (the phone has its own switch, in the same place). An agent can change it withsettings_seton the desktop.
Agent tools (MCP)
report_issue: files a defect, a question or a feature request about AgentsRoom itself on AgentsRoom's board, in English, one per call, after showing you the exact text. Never for problems in your own project. AgentsRoom Help uses the same tool when you accept its offer to file a request the product cannot answer.
Providers
All providers, no difference.
Mobile
Present, opened from the people button next to the AgentsRoom logo, at the top of the Projects screen (with the unread badge): Support, Community (with the official rooms pinned at the top, see Community Rooms), Team chats, the same translation strip with its Always translate switch, and Your feedback with the same statuses, events, filters, search, attachments (photo library) and the retested / still not fixed verdict. The Update button is not on the phone; the desktop update is checked from the phone's Settings instead.
Limits
- Without an account, only a few messages can be sent; sign in to receive the answer and keep the thread.
- Assistant answers are AI-generated and may be inaccurate; rating one No pauses it on that thread until re-enabled.
- Messages are moderated (no insults or link spam) and, in Community, translated to English for other members unless you untick Translate my messages.
- A closed ticket can be sent back three times at most; after that, reply in the thread.
- Attachments: PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, 3 per reply, 4 MB each.
- Tickets appear in Your feedback by the email you used to report; a different email is a different reporter.
- Translating uses the monthly translation allowance of your plan (20 a month on Free and Plus, unlimited on Pro, see AI Helpers Allowance): one per conversation translated, however many messages it holds. Messages already translated during the session are not counted again. When the allowance is used up, the strip says "Monthly translation limit reached" and conversations open untranslated.
- Always translate covers Community discussions, community rooms, groups and Support; team chats (a project's chat, a direct conversation with a teammate) are not translated automatically.
Common questions
- Who answers in Support? The AgentsRoom Assistant first, marked as AI; a human follows when you say the answer did not help or when it has no answer.
- Where did my bug report go? On AgentsRoom's public board; follow it in Your feedback, where every status change shows up.
- Why is a filter missing? Empty filters are hidden; Validated appears once you marked a ticket retested.
- The fix is in version X but I still see the bug. The row tells you when your app is older than X; update, retest, then use Still not fixed if needed.
- Can the chat show messages in my language without clicking Translate every time? Yes, on the desktop and on the phone: turn on Always translate in the strip above any conversation. Conversations then open translated and new messages are translated as they arrive.
- Where did the Chat button go? It is now called Community, with a people icon, in the same place of the top bar (since 1.184.0). The panel and its threads are unchanged; the panel header and the Community link of AgentsRoom Help use the same name (since 1.185.0).
