What it does

When you take a screenshot of AgentsRoom on the phone, the app keeps its own copy in a small pile at the bottom right, the corner the system's own screenshot thumbnail leaves free, and the next screenshots stack on top of it. Tap the pile and a sheet offers three things to do with the pictures: report a bug to the AgentsRoom team, save them to the phone, or share them with another app. Nothing leaves the phone unless you send it.

Where to find it

  • Take a screenshot as you always do (side buttons, Back Tap, AssistiveTouch, Pixel Quick Tap, a Samsung gesture): the pile appears at the bottom right, above the tab bar (bottom left when the app is in Arabic, whose layout is mirrored). On iPhone, Back Tap can be bound to Screenshot in the system Settings under Accessibility, Touch, Back Tap, which makes it a one-handed shortcut.
  • The pile counts the screenshots from the second one on and shows the last three. The cross on its corner throws them all away. Left alone, it goes away after 30 seconds; the system keeps its own copy of each screenshot anyway.
  • Switch: Settings > Screenshots > Screenshot shortcuts (on by default; the card is only there on iPhone, iPad and Android 14 or later, the phones that can tell an app about a screenshot).

How to use it

  1. Take one or several screenshots. Each one stacks on the pile.
  2. Tap the pile: the Screenshots sheet opens with Report a bug, Save to my phone and Share.
  3. Report a bug: choose Bug or Idea, write a short title (5 characters at least) and, if you like, the details. Dictate, next to the details, lets you say the report out loud instead of typing it: the text goes into the details and, when the title is still empty, its first sentence becomes the title. The last three screenshots are attached: tap one (or its pen) to Annotate it, drawing with your finger to circle what matters, then Done; its cross removes it from the report. Send report files a ticket on AgentsRoom's own public board under your account email; the sheet says so before you send. You follow the answer in Your feedback (the people button next to the logo on the Projects screen), where a duplicate warning ("Maybe already reported") may offer you the existing ticket first.
  4. Save to my phone adds the pictures to the photo library. The first time, iOS asks to add photos only; the app never asks to read your library.
  5. Share opens the system share sheet with all the pictures at once.

Settings

  • Screenshot shortcuts (Settings > Screenshots, on the phone only, on by default): when off, a screenshot does nothing more than the system does and no copy is made.

Agent tools (MCP)

None.

Providers

All providers, no difference. The feature does not touch any agent.

Mobile

The report form has a desktop twin: the Bug button of the desktop footer captures the window and opens the same form (see Report a bug or an idea from the app (desktop)). The pile, the save and the share actions are phone only. iPhone and iPad: any system screenshot is detected. Android: detected from Android 14; on Android 13 and earlier there is no pile and no setting, and the system screenshot, then Share, then AgentsRoom (see Mobile Companion) remains the way to send a picture. The pile also shows over a console or any full-screen screen of a project on iPhone.

Limits

  • Screenshots attached to a bug report are private: only the AgentsRoom team sees them, they never show on the public ticket page, and they are deleted once the ticket is done. The title and the text of the report are public on the AgentsRoom backlog, like any ticket filed there, and the sheet says so.
  • Each screenshot also privately records which screen and sheet of the app were open when it was taken (names from the app's code, never your project names or contents), so the team knows what it shows. A shake report records the screen it was shaken on. See Report a bug or an idea from the app (desktop).
  • At most 3 screenshots go with a report; with more on the pile, the last three are sent. The pile keeps 10 at most.
  • The picture is the app's own drawing of its window, taken right after the system screenshot: on iOS it includes the sheets over the screen, on Android it does not include a sheet (an overlay window) and a web view may come out blank. The status bar is not in it. For those cases the system screenshot is still in the photo library.
  • A report needs an internet connection. More than ten reports in an hour from the same account are refused ("You sent several reports recently").
  • A screenshot taken while the Screenshots sheet is open is ignored.

Common questions

  • Can I report a bug without taking a screenshot? Yes: shake the phone firmly while AgentsRoom is open. The report has no images attached, and any pictures already in the pile stay there. Turn this off in Settings > Help > Report a bug > Shake to report a bug; the setting follows your account. It requires a current native app build on iOS or Android.
  • Why does a pile appear when I take a screenshot? It is the app's own copy, so that a bug can be reported or the pictures shared in two taps. It disappears by itself after 30 seconds, and Settings > Screenshots turns it off.
  • Can other users see my screenshots when I report a bug? No. The text of the report is public on the AgentsRoom backlog; the screenshots stay private to the team.
  • Does saving create a second copy in my photos? Yes: the system already keeps the screenshot you took, and Save to my phone adds the app's copy (without the status bar) next to it.
  • Can I draw on a screenshot before sending it? Yes: in the report form, tap the screenshot, draw with your finger, then Done. Undo and Clear take strokes back.
  • Where is my report afterwards? In Your feedback, with its status and the team's answers; you are also emailed when it ships.
  • Can the iPhone's own screenshot thumbnail be turned off? No: iOS draws it above every app for a few seconds and lets no app hide or move it. That is why the pile sits in the opposite corner, so both stay visible.
