What it does
The Leaderboard ("What the community launches, builds and shares") is the community's scoreboard inside the Community panel: eight boards, each ranking one thing members do with AgentsRoom. Six boards rank members: Agents (community agent creators, by installs earned), Feedback & bugs (reporters, by tickets shipped), Skills (skill authors), Activity (agent execution time, opt-in), Rage Room (the mini-game, by points) and Referrals (friends who subscribed). Two boards, added in 1.184.0, rank what the community launches rather than who: Providers ("Most launched CLIs, last 30 days") and Models ("Most launched models, last 30 days"). Every board shows a podium for its top three, your own rank, and a button that leads to the way to climb it.
Where to find it
- Community in the top bar (called Chat before 1.184.0), then the Leaderboard shortcut at the bottom of the conversation list. The shortcut carries your best rank ("You're #N on the board") with a medal for the top three. It is hidden while you are signed out, while a search is running, or while the list is filtered on one project.
- From the quick-agent lightning menu in the agents column: Providers leaderboard opens the panel directly on the Providers board.
- From Add agent > Community: the Top creators button on the right of the section header opens the panel on the Agents board. Since 2026-09-29 it replaces the top-three podium that used to be drawn inside that header, which said less than the board itself.
- On the web: the LLM usage stats page of the site (Resources menu and footer), which carries the Providers and Models numbers with more detail.
How to use it
- Open the Leaderboard. The board switcher is a grid of eight tiles (Providers, Models, Agents, Feedback & bugs, Skills, Activity, Rage Room, Referrals); a tile shows a small "#N" pill when you rank on that board.
- Under the tiles, the card Your rank on this board shows your rank "of N" and your count on the selected board, plus a "Best #N" chip with the board where you rank highest. On Providers and Models the card becomes Your favourite: the CLI or model you launched most, "N launches by you" and "#N in the community", or "Launch an agent to see your favourite here.", with a link More details on agentsroom.dev.
- The board itself: the subtitle, then the podium (silver, gold in the middle and taller, bronze) when the top three exist, then the rows from the fourth. A row reads the metric ("N installs earned", "N shipped", "N skills", "N pts", "N converted", "N launches", a duration on Activity) and a secondary number ("N likes", "N submitted", "N featured", "level N", "N invited", "N projects", "N users"). On Agents and Skills, every row (podium included) also carries a small pill with the creation that got the member there: their most installed agent, or their most installed skill, with its install count. On Agents, that pill shows the agent's own avatar. Clicking the pill opens that agent's or skill's card without leaving the app. When the member published more than one agent, a second pill stacks the avatars of the others with a "+N" count ("See all their agents"): it opens Agents by Name (Your agents on your own row), the list of every agent they published with its avatar and install count; click one to open its card, close the card to come back to the list. Your row reads You and, when you rank below the loaded rows, is pinned under a separator with "N more to pass Name" (or "You're in the lead"). Scrolling down loads the next rows.
- The button at the bottom is the way up: Launch an agent (Providers, Models), Create an agent, Open the public backlog, Share a skill, Join the activity board, Launch a Rage Room, Invite a friend.
On the Providers and Models boards, a row is a CLI or a model (with its CLI next to the name): no plan pill and nothing to click. On the six member boards, each row starts with the member's profile photo (the one set in Settings > Account > Profile photo: uploaded, Google photo or an agent), or their initial when they set none. Each row carries the member's Pro, Plus or Free pill and can open a private conversation when both of you allow contact (Contact Between Members); the three podium places are clickable the same way, with a speech bubble when the member accepts contact. The carry pill of Agents and Skills rows is separate from that: it opens the agent or the skill, never a conversation, and it opens your own row's pill too.
Without a public username you appear masked; the banner Set a username fixes that.
Settings
- Settings > Privacy & data > Community leaderboards > Appear on the leaderboards: off removes you from every board and replaces the whole Leaderboard with "You're not on the leaderboards" and a Rejoin the leaderboards button.
- Settings > Privacy & data > Community leaderboards > Show my activity (execution time): opt-in to the Activity board only.
- Settings > Privacy & data > Share usage data: the single gate for the Providers and Models boards. On, each agent you launch is counted; off, nothing leaves your machine and your launches are in no board. Its read-only mirror for agents is
analyticsOptedOut(global): an agent can read it, never flip it. recentModels(global, machine-local): the "Last used" row of the model pickers, rewritten at every launch whatever the sharing switch says.
Agent tools (MCP)
None.
Providers
All CLIs are counted on the Providers board, under their parent CLI (a sub-variant of a CLI counts for that CLI). A launch that leaves the model to the CLI's default counts for the CLI and not on the Models board. The model pickers of every CLI show the same numbers as small hints: a Last used row, a flame on the most launched models, "N users" and "N users this month" (Multi-Provider Support).
Mobile
The Leaderboard is not on the phone (the companion's own leaderboard is the Companion mini-game, unrelated). The phone's chat (the people button next to the AgentsRoom logo, at the top of the Projects screen (with the unread badge)) holds the same panel without the shortcut. An agent started from the phone is counted like any other: the desktop that runs it records the launch. The phone's model pickers show the same Last used, flame and "N users" hints.
Limits
- Providers and Models count agent launches: a new agent, a quick agent, a backlog ticket, a team run, a trigger, a resume, a duplicate or fork, a cloud run. What is recorded is the CLI, the model, the reasoning effort, the built-in role and how the agent was started, never a prompt, a project, a file, a path or a name.
- Only launches from users with Share usage data on are counted. A launch made while signed out counts as a launch but never as a user, and gives no "Your favourite".
- The two usage boards cover the last 30 days; the site's page offers 7 days, 30 days, 90 days and 12 months. The site recomputes its numbers every ten minutes; the app reloads them at start and at most every 30 minutes.
- The podium is drawn only when three ranked rows exist; a shorter board is a plain list.
- The "+N" list of all agents exists on the Agents board only; skills have no avatar and keep their icon. An agent whose avatar is not generated yet, or fails to load offline, shows a generic agent icon.
- The carry pill exists on Agents and Skills only, and only when the server sends one (an older app against a newer server, or the reverse, simply shows no pill). A member whose every published agent or skill was unpublished shows no pill.
- An agent's pill opens the agent's card from the community catalog; if the app can no longer find it there (unpublished, offline), it falls back to the public Agents page of the site, scrolled to that agent. A skill's pill opens the skill's card, fetched live from the marketplace, with a link to its public page.
- The "climb it" button of Providers and Models opens the new-agent picker and needs an open project; on the projects home it does nothing.
- Signed out, the shortcut is absent. Opted out of the leaderboards, none of the eight boards is visible, the usage boards included.
Common questions
- Which CLI and model do most people use? Open the Leaderboard on Providers and Models, or read the LLM usage stats page of the site: "Most launched coding CLIs", "Most launched models", plus "How agents are started", "Reasoning effort" and "Agent roles" breakdowns.
- Why is my favourite missing on Providers? Either Share usage data is off (your launches stay on your machine), or you are not signed in, or you launched nothing in the last 30 days.
- Does the Models board see my prompts or projects? No. A launch is a shape (CLI, model, effort, role, launch path); no content, no path, no name is sent.
- I opted out, can I still see the Providers board? No: Appear on the leaderboards off hides the whole surface. Turn it back on with Rejoin the leaderboards; the site's page stays readable by everyone.
- Can I see every agent a creator published? Yes, on the Agents board: click the "+N" pill next to their top agent.
- Can I contact someone on the podium? Yes: click their podium place, like any other row; the conversation opens only if the member accepts contact.
- What is "Best #N"? Your highest rank across all boards, shown as a chip next to your standing and as the badge of the shortcut.
