Prompt Library
for your Claude agents
Stop rewriting the same prompts. Save your best ones per project, organize them in folders, and bring them back in any agent's message box with one keystroke. Synced to your account, cached on your machine, and on your phone too.
A real session, filmed in the app: a prompt that runs the tests and explains each failure without touching the code is saved once in the project's Prompt Library, in its own folder. Next time, a slash typed in the message box brings it back, Enter inserts it and Enter again sends it to the agent, which runs the tests and explains the two failures without changing a line.

Folders
Write a JWT authentication middleware for Express that validates tokens, refreshes expired ones, and attaches the decoded user to req.user…
Personal note: the staging API key is in 1Password under 'SaaS Staging'. Never commit this anywhere. For local dev use .env.local…
Create a REST endpoint following the project conventions: Zod validation, typed error responses, Prisma query with error handling…
Everything you need, nothing you don't
The Prompt Library is built into every project. No setup, no plugins, no extra config.
Organized in folders
Create folders per topic, per workflow, per agent role. Drag and drop to reorganize. Your prompts, your structure.
Synced to your account
Your project library and your Global library live on your AgentsRoom account. Open the same project on another machine, or on your phone, and the prompts are already there, with the last 50 versions of each one.
Personal prompts, yours only
Mark a prompt as "Personal" and it is visible to you only: it stays out of what you publish to a team library and out of the community catalog. Private notes stay private.
Send to any agent in a keystroke
Type / in an agent's message box, pick the prompt, press Enter to insert it and Enter again to send it. In the library, a click on a card copies the prompt to the clipboard. On the phone, Send to terminal fires it at the focused agent.
Quick search
Find any prompt in milliseconds. Filter by folder, tag, or just type. The library opens at full speed: it reads the local copy on your disk.
Community catalog
Publish a prompt for everyone, or pick one up from the Community tab. Sharing is a checkbox, unticked by default, and moderated. Every published prompt is translated into 20 languages, body included, so a reader gets it in their own language.
Version history
Every save that changes a prompt keeps the previous version. Open History in the editor, compare any earlier version with the current text and restore it in one click, from the desktop or the mobile app.
Works offline
Not signed in, or no network? The library reads and writes a local cache on your machine. Your edits are kept and sent to your account at the next sync, and two edits made in parallel are merged instead of overwriting each other.
How it works
Open any project
Open the Prompts library from the dock (Knowledge group), or click the Prompts button in the toolbar under the message box, then Open library. Each project has its own library, and a Global switch holds the prompts that follow your account.
Save your first prompt
Click "New Prompt", write your prompt, give it a title, assign it to a folder. Toggle Personal if it should stay visible to you only.
Your library follows your account
Signed in, every save goes to your AgentsRoom account and comes back on any machine where you open the project, and in the mobile app. Each project has its own library; the Global library holds the prompts you want in every project.
A local copy keeps it fast and offline
AgentsRoom keeps a copy of the library in a cache file on your machine, listed in the gitignore it manages so it never lands in a commit:
.agentsroom/prompts-cache.jsonCross-machine sync, built in
Your prompts are not a file you have to commit and pull. AgentsRoom keeps the library on your account and a local copy in .agentsroom/prompts-cache.json: open the project on your laptop, your desktop or your phone and the same prompts are there. Teammates get your prompts when you publish them to the team library, never by accident.

Is the Prompt Library per project or global?
Both. Each project has its own library, scoped to that codebase, and a Global library follows your account across every project. A Project / Global switch in the library sidebar moves between the two, and both are synced to your account.
Does the prompt library work with Claude Code, Codex and the other CLIs?
Yes. The prompt library is provider-agnostic: it sends text to the terminal your agent runs in, so the same saved prompt works with Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot CLI, Cursor and 10 other agent CLIs. One library per project, whatever CLI you open it with.
Can I share prompts with my team?
Yes. On the Team plan, publish a project prompt to the team library in one action and every member imports it; the team gets a self-contained copy, so a teammate's edits never touch yours. Outside a team, the public catalog shares a prompt with everyone, on your request only.
What about my personal prompts, will they leak?
No. A personal prompt is visible to you only. It is never part of what you publish to a team library, and it only reaches the public catalog if you tick that box yourself. Like the rest of the library, it is stored on your own account and cached on your machine, not written into the repository.
Do I need an account for the Prompt Library?
Not to use it on one machine: without an account, the library reads and writes a local cache on your disk and keeps your edits. Signing in is what makes the library follow you to other machines and to the mobile app, with version history, and it sends the edits made offline at the next sync.
Can I reorder and organize prompts?
Yes. Drag and drop to reorder prompts within a folder or move them between folders. Create as many folders as you need, they are free.
Can I share a prompt with people outside my team?
Yes, and only if you ask for it. A checkbox in the editor, unticked by default, submits a copy to the public catalog. It is scanned for secrets, checked against near-duplicates, reviewed by a human, then translated into 20 languages. You can unpublish it at any time, and your own prompt is never touched.
Linked Prompts
Link any prompt to another. When you copy or send it, the attached prompts are appended automatically, each titled. Write your rules once, reference them everywhere.
