AgentsRoom Process Guard: find the stuck command your AI agent left running and end it in one click

Filmed in the real app: a Claude Code agent is asked to start a command that holds 1.5 GB of memory and never finishes. It runs in the background, the agent moves on, and the command just sits there. A minute later AgentsRoom spots it: the Processes alert turns red in the status bar and the Protecting your machine panel opens on its own, naming the agent that started it, the command, the 1.5 GB it holds and for how long. One click on End: the command is gone and the 1.5 GB comes back. The agent is still open; its command simply got an error and it says so. By default nothing is ended without asking, and only the commands the agents start are watched.

Slow by 6 PM? An AI agent may have left a command running. This is AgentsRoom, the desktop app where your AI coding agents work side by side.

Its Process Guard watches the commands they start. To show it, I ask my agent to start a command that holds one and a half gigabytes of memory and never finishes. It runs in the background.

The agent moves on, and the command just sits there, holding memory, doing nothing. Nothing on the machine would ever stop it. A minute later, AgentsRoom spots it.

A red shield appears in the status bar, and a panel opens on its own: Protecting your machine. It names the agent that started it, shows the command, and how much memory it holds: one and a half gigabytes, for a minute now. One click on End.

The command is gone and the memory comes back. One and a half gigabytes freed. And the agent is still open.

Its command simply got an error, and it tells you so. Nothing restarted, no context lost. By default it never ends anything without asking you, and it only watches the commands your agents start.

Process Guard is in AgentsRoom, on macOS, Windows and Linux. The link is in the description.
