# Tailwind tidy

When you see Tailwind class lists:

1. Sort classes by category: layout → flex/grid → spacing → sizing → typography → color → effects → state variants.
2. Dedupe redundant utilities (`flex flex-row` → `flex`).
3. Replace arbitrary values (`text-[14px]`) with design tokens when one exists in `tailwind.config.ts`.
4. Group responsive variants together (`sm:` then `md:` then `lg:`).
5. Never introduce `!important` (`!`) without explicit user instruction.
