AgentsRoom Commit Context: keep the chat behind every AI agent commit
Filmed in the real app: a Claude Code agent fixes a cart with one constraint, keep the cache, and the diff never says why. The toggle next to the commit buttons, on by default, attaches the conversation; the first time, a window explains the unlisted link anyone with the URL can read and the common secrets masked on a best-effort basis. The commit message then carries the link: open it and the instruction is there, and a new agent reads the same link and finds the reason instead of guessing.

An old commit looks wrong. Keep the chat that explains why. This is AgentsRoom, the desktop app where your AI coding agents work side by side.
I ask this one for a fix, with one constraint: keep the cache, our totals are too slow without it. It fixes the cart, and all the tests pass. But the diff only shows what changed.
Why the cache stays exists only in this chat, which disappears with the terminal. Next to the commit buttons, this toggle attaches the conversation to the commit. It is on by default, so I just commit.
The first time, AgentsRoom explains it: an unlisted link anyone with the URL can read, and common secrets masked, best effort. Now the commit message carries a link to that chat. It travels with the repo, to your whole team.
Months later, you or a teammate open it, and read it like a document. There is the instruction: keep the cache. That is the why the diff never gave you.
The next agent can read it too. I ask a new agent why the checkout still uses the cache. It opens the link and finds the reason, instead of guessing.
Commit Context is in AgentsRoom, and one toggle turns it off. The link is in the description.
