AgentsRoom Ask on the side: ask your busy AI coding agent a question while it keeps working
A real session, filmed in the app: an AI coding agent is given a long job (refactor the checkout, fix a bug, add tests and run them). While it works, the round Ask on the side button opens a bubble, and a copy of its conversation answers what is done and what is left as the agent keeps writing code. The agent never sees the question, finishes the job, and all ten tests pass.

Your agent is busy. Ask it anyway. It keeps working.
This is AgentsRoom, the desktop app where your AI coding agents work side by side. I give this agent a long job: refactor the checkout, fix a bug, add tests, and run them. It gets to work.
I want to know where it is, but typing in its terminal would interrupt it. So I click the round Ask on the side button, at the bottom right of its console. And I ask: where are you at, and what is left to do?
A copy of its conversation takes the question, while the real agent keeps writing code. The answer streams in: what is done, why the tests were failing, and what is left. The agent never saw the question, and nothing of it lands in its history.
It just carries on. A minute later it finishes the whole job, and all ten tests pass. Ask on the side is in AgentsRoom, for Claude Code, Codex and six other agent tools.
