AgentsRoom x The Agency: 230+ Expert Agents, Built In
We integrated The Agency, the open-source (MIT) library of specialized AI agents by msitarzewski, into AgentsRoom. 230+ experts across 16 divisions, live and dynamic. Here is why, and how it looks.
AgentsRoom now ships with a third tier of agents: the experts from The Agency, an open-source, MIT-licensed library of specialized AI agent personalities. That is more than 230 ready-to-run roles, spread across 16 divisions, available inside the app today. And because the integration reads straight from the source, it stays live: any agent added to The Agency shows up in AgentsRoom.
Why The Agency, and why now
AgentsRoom has always been built around one idea: agents are more useful when they feel like a team. Not anonymous processes, but colleagues with an avatar, a name and a hand-written system prompt that gives each one a real personality and a clear job. That is what our core roles and specialists have been from day one.
So when we found The Agency, it felt like a perfect match. It is a growing collection of meticulously crafted agent personas, each defined by an opinionated markdown system prompt that narrows the model to a single domain. Frontend wizards, security auditors, GIS analysts, paid-media strategists, whimsy injectors: 232 of them, born from a Reddit thread and refined over months by msitarzewski and a community of contributors. Deep specialization with personality and process, exactly the philosophy we already believed in.
Rather than reinvent that work, we integrated it.
Three tiers of agents
Inside AgentsRoom, your roster is now organized in three groups:
- Core Team: the essential software roles, from Architect to Security, each ready to run in its own terminal.
- Specialists: targeted expertise like Project Manager, SEO, Localization or Brainstormer.
- Experts (The Agency): 230+ deeply specialized roles, grouped by division, for almost any job you can name.

You browse the experts the same way you browse everyone else: pick a division, search by name or focus, and instantiate the one you need. Each expert keeps The Agency's system prompt, so it behaves like the specialist it was written to be.
Sixteen divisions, one dynamic catalog
The Agency organizes its agents into 16 divisions: Engineering, Marketing, Design, Product, Sales, Security, Finance, Game Development, GIS, Academic, Testing, Support, Paid Media, Project Management, Spatial Computing and a broad Specialized division. In AgentsRoom, those divisions become your browsing map.

The catalog is dynamic on purpose. We sync from the upstream repository, so when the community ships a new agent or refines an existing one, it flows into AgentsRoom without you doing anything. The library grows, your roster grows with it.
Thank you to the maintainers
None of this exists without the people who built and maintain The Agency. A huge thank you to msitarzewski and every contributor who poured thousands of lines of personality, process and craft into these agents, and who chose to release them under a permissive MIT license so tools like ours can build on top of them.
The Agency is open source. If you find the experts useful in AgentsRoom, go star the repository, open a pull request, or contribute an agent of your own. Every addition you make there lands in AgentsRoom too.
