AgentsRoom Linked Folders: one AI coding agent edits an app and its API in two repos
A real session, filmed in the app: a shop lives in one git repository and its API in another folder with its own repository. Linked folders, in Project settings, adds the API folder to the project without moving it. One instruction, free shipping from 50 euros, and the agent edits a file in the API and one in the shop, with no permission prompt. The repository picker of the Changes tab then shows each repository apart, and each one is committed on its own.

One AI agent, two repos, and nothing moved on your disk. This is AgentsRoom, the desktop app where your AI coding agents work side by side. Here, a shop, with its API in another folder.
Two folders, two git repos. Your agent starts in the shop, and the API sits outside its folder. In the project settings, Linked folders lists the API folder.
It stays where it is, with its own git history. You add a folder once. Claude Code, Codex and four other agent CLIs get it every time an agent starts.
Now one instruction that touches both: free shipping from fifty euros, in the API and in the shop. The agent writes straight into the API folder, with no permission prompt, then updates the shop. Done: one file changed in each repo.
In the Changes tab, the shop's repo shows its own change, checkout.js. Switch the picker to the linked folder: the API repo, with its own file, its own branch and its own commit button. I commit the API on its own, and its repo is clean.
Back in the shop's repo, its change is still there, waiting for its own commit. One agent, two repos, and every folder stays where it was. Linked folders are in AgentsRoom.
