AI Dev Team

Your Team. Built in Minutes.

Assemble a full development team from specialized AI agents. Architect, frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, security. All working on your codebase at the same time.

AgentsRoom lets a single developer operate like a six-person team. Each agent takes a role, gets context through CLAUDE.md, and works in its own terminal. You see everything, control everything.

What Is an AI Dev Team?

A traditional development team requires hiring, onboarding, and coordinating multiple people across different specialties. Frontend, backend, testing, infrastructure. Each person needs context, each has a schedule, and each communicates differently.

An AI dev team replaces that coordination overhead with specialized agents. Each agent has a defined role, a focused skill set, and access to your full codebase. They run in parallel inside AgentsRoom, each in its own terminal, each visible in real time.

You don't need to hire six engineers. You need six agents with the right roles, the right context, and a way to watch them all work.

The Solo-Team Approach

Hiring vs. AI Team

What it takes to get a full development team running, the traditional way versus the AI way.

Traditional Hiring

  • Weeks or months of recruitment for each role
  • Salaries, benefits, and management overhead
  • Timezone constraints and meeting schedules
  • Onboarding time before anyone ships code

AI Agent Team

  • Full team assembled and running in 30 seconds
  • Pay per token, scale up or down instantly
  • Works 24/7 with no timezone limitations
  • Zero onboarding. CLAUDE.md gives instant project context

The Roster

A typical AI dev team inside AgentsRoom. Six agents, each owning a different part of the stack.

Software Architect

Plans the system design, evaluates structural decisions, and keeps the codebase organized. Handles module boundaries, dependency graphs, and refactoring strategies.

Frontend Developer

Builds UI components, implements designs, and handles responsive layouts. Focuses on accessibility, performance, and component architecture.

Backend Developer

Handles APIs, database schemas, business logic, and data pipelines. Writes efficient queries and manages server-side state.

QA Engineer

Writes unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. Identifies edge cases, validates error handling, and checks test coverage.

DevOps Engineer

Manages CI/CD pipelines, Docker configurations, deployment scripts, and infrastructure code. Keeps the build green and deploys running.

Security Engineer

Audits code for vulnerabilities, checks authentication flows, reviews dependency security, and validates data sanitization patterns.

Build Your Team in 4 Steps

From zero to a full AI development team in under a minute.

1

Create a Project

Point AgentsRoom at your codebase. It detects the project structure, git status, and existing configuration automatically.

Any local directory with code

2

Add Agents

Pick the roles you need. Assign each agent a specialty and choose the Claude model that fits: Opus for complex reasoning, Sonnet for balanced work, Haiku for quick tasks.

14 built-in roles + custom agents

3

Write CLAUDE.md

Give your agents project context. Architecture decisions, coding conventions, file structure, what to focus on and what to avoid. Every agent reads this before starting.

Built-in CLAUDE.md editor

4

Launch in Parallel

Start all agents at once. Each gets its own terminal with a real PTY. Watch them work side by side, see who finishes first, and intervene when needed.

Real-time multi-terminal streaming

Why AgentsRoom for Your AI Team

Built specifically for running multiple AI agents across a codebase.

Visual Roster

See your entire team at a glance. Each agent shows its role, status, and current activity. Know who is thinking, who finished, and who needs input.

Real-Time Activity

Every agent streams its terminal output live. No waiting for results. Watch the reasoning process as it happens and redirect agents if they go off track.

Model Per Agent

Assign different Claude models to different roles. Use Opus for your Architect and Security agents where deep reasoning matters. Use Sonnet for Frontend and Backend. Use Haiku for quick i18n or formatting tasks.

Mobile Monitoring

Check on your AI team from your phone. The companion app shows agent status, terminal output, and activity summaries. Get push notifications when agents finish or need input.

AI Dev Team FAQ

How many agents can I run at once?+
There is no hard limit in AgentsRoom. You can run as many agents as your machine and API rate limits allow. Most users run 3 to 8 agents per project. The interface scales to show all active agents with their real-time status.
Do the agents collaborate with each other?+
Each agent works independently in its own terminal on the shared codebase. They don't communicate directly, but they all read the same CLAUDE.md context and work on the same files. You coordinate them by assigning clear, non-overlapping tasks.
What does it cost to run an AI dev team?+
AgentsRoom itself is free. You pay Anthropic for API usage based on the tokens each agent consumes. The cost depends on which models you use and how much work each agent does. You can track token usage per agent in real time through the usage dashboard.
Can I create custom agent roles?+
Yes. Beyond the 14 built-in roles, you can create custom agents with any name, system prompt, and focus areas. This is useful for project-specific roles like a database migration specialist or a documentation writer.
Is this different from running Claude in multiple terminal tabs?+
Running Claude in separate terminals gives you no visibility across sessions. AgentsRoom adds a visual layer: you see all agents and their status in one view, get activity parsing and summaries, track token usage, and can monitor from your phone. It turns isolated terminals into a coordinated team.
Which Claude model should I use for each role?+
Opus is best for roles that need deep reasoning: Architect, Security, complex Backend work. Sonnet handles Frontend, Backend, and QA well with a good balance of speed and quality. Haiku works for quick, repetitive tasks like i18n, formatting, or simple documentation updates.
