# Referral Programme

## What it does

Every account has a personal referral link. When somebody subscribes through it and pays their first month at full price, both of you get a discount on your next invoice. Nothing is granted before a payment is cashed: no free first month, no sign-up bonus. The reward is a share of one month, computed on what each beneficiary pays themselves, so a subscriber in a regionally discounted market earns a share of their own rate. Rewards stack without limit, and a referrer who is not subscribed yet keeps them in reserve until their own first paid month.

## Where to find it

- Desktop: **Settings > Account**, card **Invite a friend**: your link with **Copy**, the amount earned, the list of people invited and their status, and the field **Somebody referred you?**.
- Site: the "Bring a friend, both get a discount" section of the **Pricing** page.

## How to use it

1. Open Settings > Account > Invite a friend and click **Copy**. Share the link anywhere.
2. Your friend creates an account through the link and subscribes; they pay their first month at full price.
3. A few days later (the exact delay is on the pricing page), the reward lands: each of you gets the discount on the invoice that follows. The list shows each invitee as **Signed up {date}**, **Reward on {date}**, **Rewarded {date}**, **Waiting for your subscription** or **Cancelled**.

If somebody referred you and you signed up without their link, paste their code under **Somebody referred you?** and click **Apply**, before your subscription starts. The confirmation reads "Referral recorded. Your discount lands after your first paid month."

## Limits

- Discount percentage and waiting period: see the pricing page; the app card prints the same values.
- A reward always applies to the invoice after the one that was paid; it is never a refund.
- A code cannot be applied once your subscription has started ("Your subscription started before this code"), to your own account, or twice ("Your account is already attributed to a referrer").
- If you are not subscribed, rewards wait ("{n} rewards waiting") and apply to your own first paid month.
- The top-referrer leaderboard ranks converted referrals, never sign-ups.
- Referral rewards stack with a regional price and with the beta programme credit.

## Common questions

- **My friend signed up, where is my discount?** It lands only after their first month is paid, plus the waiting period shown in the card ("A reward lands {days} days after a friend's first paid month").
- **I am on Free, can I still refer people?** Yes. Your rewards accumulate and apply to your own first invoice when you subscribe.
- **Is there a cap on rewards?** No, several friends means several discounts.
- **Can I combine it with a regional discount?** Yes, the reward is computed on the price you actually pay.
