## What it does

The owner of a project invites other AgentsRoom accounts to it. A member sees the project in their own app under **Shared with me**, watches the owner's agents live, types into their sessions and, depending on the access granted, creates and launches agents on the owner's machine. The owner's computer acts as a small local server for a team of two or three; everything travels end-to-end encrypted through the relay, and the owner's machine keeps the final say on what runs. Two access levels: **Whole project** (view, run and create agents) and **Specific agents** (attach only to the agents listed).

## Where to find it

- Owner: **Project settings > Team access** (section "Invite other AgentsRoom accounts to this project...").
- Member: the **Shared with me** section of the sidebar, and the invitation card that appears in the app ("{owner} invited you to the project {project}", **Accept** / **Decline**). The invitation also arrives by email.
- Inside a shared project the header shows **Shared by {owner}, running on {device}**.

## How to use it

1. As owner, open Project settings > Team access, type the **Email or pseudonym of their AgentsRoom account**, choose **Whole project** or **Specific agents** (then tick the agents), and click **Send invitation**. The member appears as **Pending**, then **Active** once accepted.
2. As member, click **Accept** on the card (or open the link in the email; you are asked to sign in with the invited address). The project appears under Shared with me.
3. Open it: the owner's agents show live. Type in a terminal to drive an agent; with Whole project access, add an agent as in your own project. It starts on the owner's machine.
4. The member's composer bar under the remote terminal offers Sketch, a region screenshot and file attachments: the bytes travel to the owner's machine and land in the agent as if dropped there.
5. To end access: owner **Edit** or **Revoke access** in Team access; member leaves from the same card. A revoked project closes on the member's side.

If the owner's machine is off, the row stays clickable and the room says **Waiting for {owner}'s machine**; it connects on its own when AgentsRoom runs there. **Check again** forces a refresh.

## Settings

None.

## Agent tools (MCP)

None.

## Providers

All providers, no difference: the member drives whatever CLI the owner's agents run on.

## Mobile

Not on the mobile companion: shared projects are not listed on the phone.

## Limits

- Each project has a member ceiling on Free, Plus and Pro; the Team plan removes it ("Unlimited project sharing").
- The owner's machine must be on with AgentsRoom running; after an accept, the owner's app can take up to two minutes to open the room.
- One remote controller per agent session at a time; the owner does not see the member's presence.
- Remote attachments are capped in size per file.
- Sharing is indexed on the project identity stored in the repository, so clones of the same repo open the same shared project; a folder copied from another project can inherit that identity and is re-keyed on detection.
- Cannot invite yourself or the same person twice.

## Common questions

- **The shared project is grey and does nothing.** The owner's machine is offline, has not synced yet (up to two minutes), or no longer lists the project. The room explains which; ask the owner to open it again or reshare.
- **Can the member see my whole disk?** No. Only the shared project, and only the agents you granted with Specific agents.
- **Does it cost the member anything?** No plan is required to accept an invitation; the owner's plan sets the member ceiling.
- **Is this the Remote Fleet?** Same mechanism, other people: Remote Fleet is your own machines, project sharing is other accounts on your project.
