## What it does

Describe what you want to build in one sentence and AgentsRoom turns it into a project without any other question: no folder picker, no git prompt, no framework menu. It answers with a plan card (project name, chosen stack, agent role, why this stack, the security rules that apply), then creates everything on your machine: a folder, a git repository with a clean first commit, four starter files (`.gitignore`, `README.md`, `AGENTS.md`, `CLAUDE.md`), the agent of the plan, the command that runs the project saved in Dev Commands, and the first brief pre-filled in the agent's composer. You press Send. Nothing is uploaded and no code is generated by AgentsRoom itself: the agent writes the application.

## Where to find it

- First launch (no project yet): the [Welcome Chat](https://agentsroom.dev/docs/welcome-chat.md). Tap **I have an idea, nothing yet**, describe it, then **Plan my project**.
- With projects already open: the projects home search bar in **Build** mode.
- The action shown is **Build it with me**.

## How to use it

1. Type the idea ("a wine cellar tracker for my friends") and send.
2. The card **Your plan** appears (**Working out the best way to build this...** while it thinks). The only editable field is **Project name**; the **Security** block lists the rules the agent will follow.
3. Read the ownership line: created on your machine, in a git repository you own, you pick your git host and hosting later.
4. Click **Create the project**. The folder appears under `~/AgentsRoom/<project>`, the agent is added, the brief sits in the composer.
5. Send the brief yourself; AgentsRoom never sends the first prompt for you. **Start over** discards the plan.

Stacks the plan can choose from: **Next.js web app**, **Static site**, **iOS and Android app**, **Node API**, **Python tool**, or **Decided with the agent** (empty repository, the agent settles the technology in its first message).

## Settings

None.

## Agent tools (MCP)

None. The plan comes from the AgentsRoom AI service; the creation runs on the desktop.

## Providers

All providers. The plan names an agent role, and the agent is created with your default provider; `CLAUDE.md` is a one-line pointer to `AGENTS.md` so Claude Code and every other CLI read the same brief.

## Mobile

Not on the phone yet. The decision to port it is taken (the phone would send the sentence and the desktop would scaffold); it is not shipped.

## Limits

- Works without an account. The plan service is rate-limited per IP (30 plans per 24 hours).
- Offline or when the service is unreachable, a project is still created with the **Decided with the agent** stack and the card says so.
- If no agent CLI is installed, the creation step shows the usual "no CLI" dialog offering the free provider; the plan itself always displays.
- The project name comes from your own words; the folder is created inside `~/AgentsRoom`.

## Common questions

- **Where is the project on disk?** In the AgentsRoom folder of your home directory, under the project name.
- **Does it push to GitHub?** No. The repository is local with one commit; connect a remote whenever you want.
- **Can I change the stack?** Not on the card. Reword the idea and start over, or pick Decided with the agent by describing it loosely.
- **Does it write code?** No, only the four starter files. The agent does the building once you send the brief.
